Aviator Lacrosse Club is excited to announce plans for our Summer 2024 program.
Aviator will host a free tryout for interested players on Sunday, October 22nd from 3-5 PM at Walsh University's Vasco Field. The tryout is open for boys currently in 7th grade (class of 2029) through current 11th grade (class of 2025). Players will be put through warmups, position specific drills, and participate in a short-scrimmage. Invitations will be sent by October 25th, and families will have until November 1st to accept their invitation. Players that participated in Aviator's Summer 2023 program do not need to tryout and will receive an invitation to our Summer 2024 program and link to confirm continued participation.
The overall fee for our summer program will be $1,150. This fee will include an expanded schedule of 3-tournaments and 12-practices. Players will also receive team apparel. The tournaments are: (1) the Ohio Lacrosse Festival, June 15-16, 2024 (Columbus, OH)(link); (2) the King of Queens Lacrosse Tournament, June 29-30, 2024 (Cincinnati, OH)(link); and (3) the Gem City Lacrosse Tournament, July 13-14, 2024 (Erie, PA)(link). Practices are expected to continue to be at Walsh University, but the location is subject to change.
Aviator is also happy to announce a new aspect to our program - a Recruiting Option for high school players that are interested in playing at the next level. This would be an add on charge of $125 that includes access to the IMLCA Recruiting Database (link). This fee represents significant savings as the fee for individual players to the IMCLA Recruiting Database is $400. Aviator coaches also have experience as college coaches and/or players and are happy to discuss the recruiting process with players and parents.
